Making Derbyshire Safer Metal Detecting Association | Hello and welcome to our website.We are a small collection of individual metal detectorists,who make Derbyshire safer for people and animals by removing hypodermics,sharp objects and rubbish from the ground,plus we mange to save the occasional old coin and relic too from damaging modern environmental corrosion.We decided to set up this site as we are very concerned about the way our lovely hobby is heading.We hope to positively promote our activities in Derbyshire and give other Detectorists help and alternative ideas in the organisation ,promotion and preservation of this lovely pastime.Finally we wish to thank everyone at wordpress for allowing us to have this website for free as because we are totally voluntary we would not be able to run and maintain an expensive website.
