Research on Colombian Internal Displacement Humanitarian Crisis | Before I state a precise, orthodox, neoclassical concept which I will dismiss, and before I meet with, and clearly write, the sufficient reasons favoring such refusal, and before I identify, familiarize with, and detail on writings any concept of an economic current of thought that I empathize with, and even before I precise any research question or any working hypothesis sprouted from one intriguing economic school of thought, or beforehand I offer any methodology proposal for addressing any question, and, obviously, before I compose a first draft for my thesis which fulfills partially the academic requirements for the degree of Master in Economics, I plan to review, through the following documentation, the state of the art that now I consider to be relevant for my thesis. This in turn, I really hope, will serve me to set the first, relevant steps in developing my thesis. I chose English, and not Spanish, to be the predominant language of the following reports, on the understanding that this will help me to rehearse my first foreign language skills, this may help me to develop my thesis in English language and this also could make easier the task of familiarizing myself with the technical, legal vocabulary used internationally when treating on IDPs subjects. A blog is an advantageous medium for developing an academic research: In my case, it allows me to file writings in an organized way and in chronological order, to edit each entry, to gain access to them from any PC, to keep them safe, to share them effortlessly, to invite others to enter their comments, to view any third-party reply, to remember the bibliography checked and the reading notes I have taken. Hopefully, it will facilitate my supervisor -not yet identified-, myself and any third party to track my progress. First entry in this Blog was created in October 5, 2013. It's author is Juan Sebastian Franco, Economist and Philosopher from Universidad de los Andes, who actually lives in Bogotá, Capital District, The Republic of Colombia.
