Get yours by contacting Chapter President CSM(R) Robert Van Pelt at [email protected]       LTC(R) Nick Laiacona, President of the Capital District of New York Chapter of the AUSA, presented the AUSA Medal and Certificate for Leadership to Cadet LTC John Dewey, a junior at LaSalle Institute, Troy, NY. The Medal and Certificate were presented at the LaSalle Promotion and Commissioning Ceremony held at LaSalle on 7 Jun 12. Nick also presented a Chapter coin to the outgoing Cadet Colonel Andrew Witkowski who will attend Union College in Schenectady, NY.  LaSalle Institute is a Junior ROTC Program school. It is an all male middle and high school level school. There were approximately 125 people in attendance.      We had a great night at the Glens Falls Civic Center for the 3rd Annual Military Appreciation Night with the Adirondack Phantoms. Thanks to the NYARNG Honor Guard for posting the colors and to the members of the NYARNG Best Warrior Completion who were there and honored by the Phantoms. Special thanks to the Phantoms for donating free tickets to the participants. The Phantoms have been great supporters of the Chapter.
