AJ'S Aviary - 10/27/2014 Updated News on our aviary.. Afte a very busy season.  We are starting to wind down now.   At one point we were hand feeding 24 baby birds.  Now we are down to only feeding 8 baby birds.     We still have a few babies in the nest box.   To make it easier for our customers we have chosen to list them all below.    RECENTLY SOLD NORMAL BLUE QUAKER BABY BIRD 8 WEEK OLD MILITARY MACAW BABY BIRD     Hand feeding 5 Blue Quaker babies  -   2 Sold - 3 Available  3 White Faced Pied Cockatiel babies -  1 Sold - 2 Available                                     See pictures below taken 10/21/2014     SAME BLUE QUAKER BABIES A WEEK LATER  In the Nest Box                                         1 Blue Quaker Baby bird -  available  We had quite a surprise the last time we had Quaker babies hatch.  One pair of Green Quaker Parrots gave us 3 different colors from the same clutch.. Below are a few pictures of these babies.  We had no idea that we had 3 different colored birds in this clutch until they were about 4 weeks old.  See pictures below.  We have the Green Quaker. Cinnamon, Or what I call Lime Green myself and we even had a Blue Quaker baby.  All from the same parents.  All of these baby birds have been sold,   We are so proud of all of our baby birds and we enjoy watching them grow under our care.  We sold all of the birds above to very happy customers, and we wanted to share some of that joy  The boy below is one happy camper with his little Kiwi.    We sold a Yellow Sided Green Cheek Conure and made 2 boys very very happy. I think we have a happy bird too. This is why we love what we do.  Here are some of our blue quaker babies And here is the same birds ready to go home Our birdie peeps Dana and Jeremy sent us some pictures of the Timneh African Grey babies we sold to them. Below are a few pictures of Vinnie & Binnie.           All of our babies are hand fed and very tame.  Thank you to all of our customers for adding our babies to your flock/family.   The Pied cockatiel pictured below is a new breed for us...We are very proud of this baby bird. They are a little bit bigger in my opinion that a normal cockatieland they have much softer feathers. Anyone that has held one has fallen in love with this breed of cockatiel..The Pied (cockatiel in front) is almost 2 weeksyounger than the Lutino (pictured behind) and twice the size. These two babies were sold to Ms. Heather.   . The blue male quaker (pictured below) is one of our miracle birds. He lost a few of his toes when they got caught in a toy that was in his cage. It has not stopped him from being a very good parent as you can see below. It did however open our eyes to the dangers of toys in the cage. We were very lucky that we found him in time and that is why we want to warn other people so that they dont have the same experience. If a bird gets a foot caught they will do whatever it takes to get free. Some things to be aware of RopeBells We dont have all the answers, but would like to encourage you to do your research before you buy a toy for your baby bird.     They are wonderful parents who give us some very healthy baby birds and then I take over at 3 weeks and give them a big break. BelowMilitary Macaw babies that we raised and sold to very happy customers..I was very lucky to sneak in and get one of our babies sound asleep at the bottom of her cage..Do I sound like a proud mom...     PICTURED BELOW IS A PICTURE OF MY GRANDDAUGHTER LEXI WITH A FRIEND OF HERS..THESE PICTURES WERE TAKEN IN SANFORD, FLORIDA. THESE ARE NOT OUR BIRDS BUT I SURE AM A PROUD NANA. MY LITTLE GIRL TAKES AFTER HER NANA AS YOU CAN SEE.  We are just getting started and we have met some wonderful people along the way. Once you buy a bird from Ajsaviary we are with you for life. We love what we do and hopefully, god willing, we will be doing this for a long time to come.I want to thank all of my birdie peeps. We have actually had customers wait as long as a year to buy a bird from us.. We have had customers drive from Texas, Mississipi and Alabama to purchase one of our babies. You just dont know how good that makes me feel....Thank you so very much..We keep in touch with our customers and it is so rewarding to know that some of our birds travel the country in 18 wheelers and then we got some that travel the world in a boat. Love it. All of our babies are hand raised by me and my husband Arthur. They are given a lot of love. I started raising birds as a hobby and discovered that I just love to hand feed those little babies and find just the perfect family. I hope we continue to do this for many years to come.OK SO CALL US ANYTIME AND WE WILL BE VERY HAPPY TO DISCUSS ANY OF OUR BABIES AND THEIR UPDATES WITH YOU...
